De teamleden publiceren zelf boeken, monografieën en artikelen in tijdschriften. Een belangrijke publicatiereeks is de Explokart Historisch-Cartografische reeks, waarvan de meeste delen zijn samengesteld door vrijwilligers die zelf onderzoek doen onder begeleiding van het Explokart-team.

The Explokart team members publish books, monographs and articles in journals. One of the important series is the Explokart Studies in the History of Cartography. Most of the volumes of this serie are composed by volunteers who conduct their own research under the supervision of the Explokart-team.
