De teamleden publiceren zelf boeken, monografieën en artikelen in tijdschriften. Sinds 2000 verschijnt de Explokartreeks, met cartobibliografiën gericht op voornamelijk Nederlandse gedrukte kaarten. In 2023 verscheen het eerste deel van Kaarthistorie, de nieuwe Nederlandstalige reeks van Explokart in samenwerking met WBooks.

The Explokart team members publish their own books, monographs, and journal articles. The Explokart Studies in the History of Cartography, featuring cartographic bibliographies focused primarily on Dutch printed maps, has been in publication since 2000. In 2023, the first volume was published of Kaarthistorie, Explokart’s new Dutch-language series in collaboration with WBooks.
